<p>An effective method of reducing a double chin is with exercise. There are several exercises that target the chin area and can be used in conjunction with one another for greatest effectiveness.</p>
<p>The first exercise can be done while sitting comfortably in a chair. Open your mouth up as wide as possible as if you were opening up for the dentist, putting pressure on the jawbone. Then close your mouth. Repeat this exercise five times.</p>
<p>The second exercise involves the neck and is very effective in reducing a double chin.  You will immediately notice a double chin reduction. Sit straight up in a chair. Without moving your shoulders, tilt your head back as far as you can comfortably go. Hold that position for fifteen seconds. Then slowly come back to the position you started at. Repeat five times.</p>
<p>The third exercise requires you to lie down on the floor or on a mat with your hands by your side. Then, bring your chin forward until it touches your chest. Keep in mind that you should not put any extra strain on your neck while doing this exercise. Hold this position for fifteen seconds and then slowly return to your starting position. Repeat this exercise five times.</p>
