Some people have extra fat accumulated under their chin. This is called a double chin. Double chins are common in older and elderly people (both men and women). However, anyone can have a double chin. Even healthy, thin and young men and women can get a double chin. They are healthy and still have a double chin. If you have a double chin, there are several different ways that you can disguise a double chin. Some of these ways include: good posture, the right make up, clothing and jewelery choices, and the right hair cut.
First, lets talk about your posture. You should make sure that you are always standing or sitting up straight. Not only should you be standing with your weight balanced on both feet and your back straight, but your head should also be up and your jaw needs to be jetted out.
The next thing that you can do to disguise a double chin is to wear a dark foundation on your double chin. Just apply some on the double chin part and blend it in with a lighter shade around it. This will help disguise your double chin because people will notice the lighter part, before the darker part.
The right clothing and jewelery choices will help too. Stay away from anything that draws attention to the neck. These include: collar necklaces, tight necklaces, collared shirts, turtlenecks and shirts that button up. Instead, try wearing low, loose jewelery. As far as shirts go, try wearing v neck styles. This will draw attention away from the double chin. Finally, you can also disguise a double chin by making sure you have the right haircut. Your haircut should be short (above the jawline). Longer haircuts actually draw attention to the neck while shorter haircuts draw attention to the face. Shorter haircuts also help people to appear to be younger and thinner.
